Frequently asked questions
What to know about the physiotherapy process.
General information about assessment, manual therapy, exercise, return to sport and appointments.
01How does physiotherapy begin?
The process starts with a review of your concerns, health history, daily needs and movement capacity. Findings and goals are used to create an individual plan.
02How long is the first assessment?
The time depends on the scope of your needs. Your history, movement and function are reviewed before the next steps are discussed.
03How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on assessment findings, goals and response to the process. The plan is reviewed and updated regularly.
04Is manual therapy painful?
Techniques are selected according to your findings and tolerance. Sharing any discomfort allows the intensity and technique to be adjusted.
05What should I bring?
Wear clothes that allow comfortable movement. Relevant medical reports, imaging results and previous treatment documents may be helpful.
06When should back or neck pain be assessed?
Consider an assessment when pain limits daily life, recurs or restricts movement. Sudden weakness, serious trauma or rapidly worsening neurological signs require urgent medical care.
07How is return to sport planned?
Return is progressed using pain, mobility, strength, balance, sport-specific skills and confidence—not time alone.
08Who may consider clinical Pilates?
Clinical Pilates can be adapted for movement control, strength, balance and breathing. Suitability and starting level are determined individually.
09Are home exercises provided?
When appropriate, practical individual exercises support the clinical process. Technique and progression are reviewed during follow-ups.
10How can I request an appointment?
Use the online appointment area or contact the clinic by phone or WhatsApp. A request becomes final after clinic confirmation.
